About The Position
The Phlebotomist is a registered professional phlebotomist who is responsible for providing safe, competent, quality care to a designated group of patients based on established standards and evidenced based practice. Demonstrates leadership to other members of the phlebotomy department and function as a clinical resource to patients and other staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certificate or diploma in Phlebotomy or Paramedic Certification (or equivalent).
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and others.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with patients.
- Ability to use a computer application to manage copious amounts of information, including inputting data, and retrieving specific records.
- BLS - Current
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
