Phlebotomist

Atlas AlaskaAnchorage, AK
$24 - $26Remote

About The Position

As a Phlebotomist at Atlas in Anchorage, AK, you'll be at the heart of patient care, crafting personalized solutions that truly matter. Your expertise will shine as you tackle unique challenges and connect with families in meaningful ways. With competitive pay ranging from $26 to $28 per hour, this is not just a job; it's a chance to bring your problem-solving skills to life and make an impact in your community. As a Phlebotomist with Atlas, you'll provide an essential service to patients in the comfort of their own homes. You'll be responsible for safely and accurately collecting blood and other specimens while creating a calm, respectful, and compassionate experience for every patient. Working in a home health environment means every visit is different. You'll meet patients where they are (typically facilities), build meaningful relationships, and work independently while remaining closely connected to our clinical team. Your ability to make patients feel comfortable, respected, and cared for is just as important as your technical phlebotomy skills. At Atlas, we believe healthcare is about more than completing a task-it's about how we make people feel along the way. This isn't a traditional laboratory or hospital phlebotomy position. You'll be bringing phlebotomy services directly to the patient. You may be collecting a specimen at a kitchen table, in a living room, or alongside a family member caring for a loved one. You'll need to be comfortable working independently, navigating different home environments, and adjusting your approach to each patient. For hospice patients in particular, your ability to provide a gentle, reassuring experience is incredibly important. Sometimes the smallest moments of kindness can make the biggest difference.
