Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Other experience and training that will support minimum on-the-job training to perform the above duties
- Keyboarding/data entry experience
- Knowledge of venipuncture techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
Responsibilities
- Collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices.
- Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes.
- Comply with all OSHA and regulatory requirements including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment [PPE].
