Phlebotomist - (Clovis, New Mexico)
About The Position
The Phlebotomist provides patient care and customer-focused service while performing venipuncture on patients of all ages and collecting and preparing non-blood specimens. The role is responsible for accurate specimen processing and labeling, proper test ordering, and upholding safety, compliance, and quality control. Employees will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI), must maintain strict confidentiality, follow privacy and security standards, and access PHI only when required for their duties. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position in Clovis, New Mexico, with a first-shift schedule and 40 scheduled hours per week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
