About The Position
Revere Health is seeking a motivated, outgoing Phlebotomist to support the daily activities of its medical laboratory and help provide patients with a positive laboratory experience. The role includes courteous, friendly service to patients, maintaining a professional appearance and conduct, and contributing to a positive work environment by balancing team and individual responsibilities. Excellent communication skills are needed to interact effectively with patients of all ages and co-workers. An employee scrub allowance is provided upon hire. The position requires varied shifts Monday through Saturday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The posting refers to the Provo location in the essential job functions, while the job title identifies St. George.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited medical vocational institution with a phlebotomy course diploma and/or previous experience.
- Certified phlebotomist.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and co-workers.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds routinely and stand for long periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- Previous phlebotomy work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collect laboratory specimens from patients of all age groups.
- Assist with receptionist and clerical duties as needed.
- Assist with stocking and ordering supplies.
- Process specimens for testing and shipment to reference laboratories.
- Adhere to policies and procedures associated with the position.
