About The Position
Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, a 198-bed non-profit facility, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team. The facility is committed to providing exceptional, compassionate healthcare to the communities in and around Gilbert, Arizona. They are dedicated to social justice, health equity, and delivering care in innovative ways within a collaborative and supportive environment. The Phlebotomist will be an integral part of obtaining and/or preparing specimens for analysis to support accurate laboratory services for various patient types. The role involves working under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, using a state-of-the-art wireless handheld computer, and actively participating in the Mission of Dignity Health.
Requirements
- Completed an accredited phlebotomy program.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS).
Nice To Haves
- National certification.
- Previous experience in a health-related field.
- Phlebotomy Cert
Responsibilities
