About The Position
Centurion is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join their team at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. This role provides comprehensive healthcare services within a correctional environment. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, performing finger sticks for blood sugars, and assisting patients with activities of daily living.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be certified as a Phlebotomist with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification/license preferred, not required
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience preferred, not required
