About The Position
A facility near Sparta, WI is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join their team! This is a permanent phlebotomist position. The role involves performing phlebotomy and specimen collection procedures (venipuncture, heel and finger sticks, urine and drug screens for DOT and Non-DOT clients) across all age groups. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate documentation, processing lab orders in Epic, and preparing specimens for send-out and daily courier pickup. The position also supports laboratory operations through inventory management, clerical tasks, verifying reference lab billing, and ensuring proper documentation and resolution of lab orders.
Requirements
- Phlebotomist certification from a nationally accredited agency (NCPT, NCCT, ASCP, NHA)
- Previous phlebotomy or lab experience required
- BLS required upon hire
