About The Position

This full-time, benefit-eligible role is located in Columbus, OH, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The Phlebotomist will provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service, perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, and collect/prepare non-blood specimens. Responsibilities also include ensuring proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering, while championing safety, compliance, and quality control. This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI), and employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality and abide by all applicable privacy and security standards. Employees are expected to access PHI only when required to fulfill job duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
