About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office setting in Leesville, Louisiana. The role provides customer service, performs skilled specimen collections, and represents the company to patients. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position offers opportunities for continued growth within the organization.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency.
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfort working under minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
At least one year of experience assisting patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric.
Current or prior Labcorp or AstranaCare experience.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other purposes.
Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
