About The Position

Performs collections on newborn, pediatric, and adult patients, including venipuncture using vacutainer, syringe, and butterfly techniques; capillary puncture using heel-stick and finger-stick techniques; and electrocardiograms (EKGs). Prepares equipment to efficiently collect blood and body fluid samples and perform patient testing procedures.

Requirements

• High School Graduate, or equivalent required.
• Ability to work as a team player with excellent customer services skills.
• Phlebotomy certification through ASCP or eligible status required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
