About The Position

This position involves using equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients, explaining procedures to patients, and collecting information from them in a professional manner. The role requires collecting and managing samples of blood and specimens from patients, ensuring patient safety during the sample collection process, and accurately recording and documenting patient information. The phlebotomist will follow all standard procedures and safety regulations, deploy asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures, and communicate with patients, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
- BLS training required

- Previous work experience in a medical setting is beneficial
