The Central Processing Clerk/Phlebotomist demonstrates skill in pediatric phlebotomy and skin puncture techniques following all patient care and department policy and procedure guidelines. Acts as a primary laboratory representative to the patient. Is responsible for a timely and accurate collection of clinically acceptable specimens with proper identification of all patient information and transporting, processing and storing the laboratory specimens.
