About The Position

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist. This role involves drawing and collecting blood samples from patients, verifying records, and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis. The position may also include pricking fingers for blood collection, conducting interviews, taking vital signs, and testing blood samples to screen donors at a blood bank. MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is a leading regional acute care facility with 396 patient beds and nearly 1,500 employees. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration.
Internal candidates are required to submit and meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements.
External candidates are required to complete Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements within 90 days in position.
