About The Position

Valley Medical Group is looking for a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team and work in our Greenfield Health Center. This is a dynamic environment opportunity. As a Phlebotomist, the candidate must have the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture. A successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and be proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment.

Requirements

• Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
• Previous customer service or medical office experience

Nice To Haves

• CPT preferred, but not required
• EMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Collecting samples from patients of all ages
• Processing and accessions of clinical specimens
• Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients
