About The Position
Provide direct patient care in a hospital or clinic lab setting, collect blood samples and conduct routine lab duties. High school diploma or equivalent is required PLUS qualifications noted below.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from a phlebotomy program or previous experience as a phlebotomy tech (for Phlebotomist I)
- National certification (for Phlebotomist II)
- State or national certification (for new graduates for Phlebotomist II)
- Certified Medical Assistant with phlebotomy II national certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant with phlebotomy II national certification
- Patient Care Technician with phlebotomy II national certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred (for Phlebotomist II)
