About The Position

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 3+ month contract position on the 1st shift (8 AM - 1 PM) in Aldie, VA. This role requires the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and be flexible with staffing needs, which may include weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. A commitment to all company policies and procedures, including dress code, health and safety, and guiding principles, is essential. The role demands good judgment and decision-making based on established procedures. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record are necessary, as travel to multiple locations with minimal notice may be required. The ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting and demonstrate superior customer focus, open communication, and adaptability is crucial. Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred, and phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). A minimum of three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, is required. Two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment and customer service in a retail or service environment are preferred, along with keyboard/data entry experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Responsibilities
