About The Position
Interim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team in an inpatient and outpatient lab within a leading hospital in the metro area. As a phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in patient diagnosis and treatment and be a vital member of the healthcare team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts and requires flexibility for start times between 5:15 am and 8 am. The role involves working at one of three locations: Bloomington, Chanhassen, or Minnetonka.
Requirements
- One year of phlebotomy experience.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and function in various different areas of healthcare.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Experience using Epic Beaker charting software in a clinical/hospital setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Specimen collection/blood draws, some processing.
- Maintaining the lab.
- Submitting lab orders to 3rd part vendors and general support.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Other lab duties as assigned.
