About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Idaho Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a per-diem Phlebotomist to join our team at Idaho State Correctional Center located in Kuna, Idaho. The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment. Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be certified as a Phlebotomist with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification/license preferred, not required
- Corrections experience preferred, not required
