About The Position

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc., part of Sonic Healthcare USA, is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist in Plano, Texas. The role provides patient care and customer-focused service, performs venipuncture on patients of all ages, collects and prepares non-blood specimens, and ensures proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering. The position also champions safety, compliance, and quality control.

The role has routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees receive training on reasonable safeguards and must maintain strict confidentiality, follow applicable privacy and security standards, and access PHI only when needed to perform job duties. This is a first-shift position scheduled for 20 hours per week and is not benefit eligible.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
