About The Position

The Phlebotomist-Float provides patient care and customer-focused service across the Greater Memphis Area. The role performs venipuncture on patients of all ages, collects and prepares non-blood specimens, and ensures specimens are processed and labeled correctly with appropriate test ordering. The position also supports safety, compliance, and quality control.

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible role scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 40 scheduled hours per week on the first shift. The role has routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI); employees receive training on safeguards and must maintain strict confidentiality, follow privacy and security standards, and access PHI only when required for their duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
