About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Yakima, WA. This role involves performing blood collections, collecting specimens for various tests, performing moderately complex testing as defined by CLIA, data entry, processing billing, preparing specimens, maintaining logs, providing customer service, and performing administrative duties. Requirements

Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

3 or more months of phlebotomy experience
6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy
Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Qualified to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collecting payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
