This role involves completing a 12-week on-the-job training program in phlebotomy and outpatient access administrative duties. The training includes classroom instruction, laboratory observation, and hands-on training in patient settings, covering topics such as customer service, reception, patient registration, human anatomy and physiology, and blood collection protocols and techniques. The trainee will perform functions associated with patient information processing for laboratory visits.
