A Client Care Specialist 2 contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics/Programs. A CCS2 is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs. A CCS-2 enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. With a versatile skill set and dedication to seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, CCS2s contribute to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as a CCS-2 it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

Requirements

  • Valid Phlebotomy license or MA certificate
  • Skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory analysis

Responsibilities

  • Presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics/Programs
  • Providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs
  • Seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles
  • Work as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care
  • Collecting medical histories
  • Managing tests/screenings
  • Recording vitals
  • Addressing health complaints
  • Facilitate patient registration
  • Appointment management
  • Electronic chart creation
  • Proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports
  • Skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens
  • Preparing them for laboratory analysis
