About The Position

The Phlebotomist Lead position at Glenbrook Hospital is a full-time role responsible for good communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads. The individual will work cooperatively with others, inspire cooperation, and adhere to and ensure staff compliance with attendance and punctuality standards. This role requires excellent phlebotomy and personal interaction skills with patients of all age groups. The Phlebotomist Lead will also ensure supply inventory is adequate to support operations and assist the Supervisor/Manager with front-line supervision of departmental personnel, ensuring staff compliance with all assigned procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • PBT(ASCP) preferred and CPR-BLS from the AHA Certification required.
  • For Phlebotomy II candidates, demonstrated competency and proficiency in all Phlebotomy I job responsibilities.
  • For external candidate, two (2) years of experience in a comparable health setting.
  • Phlebotomy experience required.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to all sites and campuses.
