The Phlebotomist provides general laboratory services including specimen collection using routine venipuncture, order entry, blood component preparation, pre-analytic processing of specimens as well as related clerical tasks such as entering orders into the system, answering phone calls, and managing faxes. The incumbent may be responsible for patient and specimen registration and delivery of specimens. The ideal incumbent will possess strong customer service skills and be highly compassionate. This will be a mainly PRN phlebotomy role with some processing. Required hours are 2 Saturdays per month 0730-1200 with the flexibility to pick up more shifts.
