The Phlebotomist Lab Assistant I is responsible for general laboratory services, including routine venipuncture for specimen collection, order entry, blood component preparation, and pre-analytic specimen processing. The role also involves clerical duties such as system order entry, answering phone calls, and managing faxes. Additionally, the incumbent may handle patient and specimen registration and specimen delivery.
