About The Position

Available Inpatient Phlebotomy Positions: Part-Time (40 Hrs Per Pay): Weekdays 4AM-8AM OR 5AM-9AM; Every Other Weekend 5AM-9AM; 3 Holidays Per Yr (5AM-1:30PM). Part-Time (32 Hrs Per Pay): Varied Weekdays 2AM-6AM; Every Other Weekend 2AM-6AM; 3 Holidays Per Yr (2AM-8AM). Part-Time (8 Hrs Per Pay): Every Other Weekend 4AM-8AM OR 5AM-9AM; 3 Holidays Per Yr (5AM-1:30PM). The Phlebotomist performs phlebotomy, point of care testing on multiple platforms and EKG tracings. Correctly identifies patients and handles patient registration. Maintains a working knowledge of both the laboratory and hospital information systems and tools. Provides dispatching or coordinating of collections and performs procedures in a standardized, accurate manner with knowledge of the parameters of acceptability and critical limits. Expected to perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Phlebotomy training and/or experience required
• BLS Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
• FIT Testing must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
• PA Drivers License (May vary based on department needs)
