About The Position

This is a temporary, 2-month contract position for a Phlebotomist III - Floater in Grand Blanc, MI. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, occasional Saturdays, and potentially weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs. The phlebotomist will be responsible for providing quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment, often with minimal on-site supervision. Travel to multiple locations is required, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting is essential. A strong focus on customer service, open communication, and adaptability to change is expected.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
Keyboard/data entry experience.

Nice To Haves

Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.

Responsibilities

Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Perform excellent phlebotomy, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
Be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
