About The Position

This is a 3-month contract position for a Phlebotomist III - Floater. The role requires flexibility in schedule and location, including potential weekend, holiday, on-call, and overtime work. The individual will be responsible for providing quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrating superior customer focus. Travel between multiple locations is required, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting is essential. The position also requires adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical assistant or paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Perform excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Adhere to all Policies & Procedures, including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
  • Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
  • Travel and work flexible hours to cover multiple locations, including Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
  • Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

  • Communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients.

  • Process blood and travel between sites within a 45-minute timeframe.
