About The Position

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 3-month contract position in Redding, CA. This role requires the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and be flexible with staffing needs, which may include weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. A commitment to all company policies and procedures, including dress code, health and safety, and guiding principles, is essential. The role demands the ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record are necessary, as travel and flexible hours are required to work multiple locations with minimal notice. The candidate must be capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting and demonstrate superior customer focus, open communication, and the ability to embrace change and understand the business. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Phlebotomy certification required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

Nice To Haves

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.

Responsibilities
