This role involves drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing in a fast-paced environment. The Phlebotomist II will maintain direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately. This position requires demonstrating leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, and maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. Daily activities must be performed accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor, maintaining a safe and professional environment. The role includes performing both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties, verifying patient demographic information, and maintaining required records and documentation. The Phlebotomist II is expected to demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image.
