Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float Casual to join our team in Overland Park, KS and surrounding areas. Work Schedule: This is a casual/PRN position; hours will be "as needed" but the start and end times will vary from 7am - 6pm.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Current or Prior Labcorp experience
In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Be at least 21 years’ old
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
