About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work part time days in the central testing lab! (7a-330p) As a clinical lab assistant-phlebotomy duties are to perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing. Responsible for registration and test data entry. Monitors supply levels.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy course (preferred)
• Phlebotomy certification (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience (preferred)
