About The Position

The Philanthropy Program Manager serves as the Liaison to the Women's Auxiliary. This position is critical for developing and executing strategies that generate social impact through successful fundraising and relationship management. The role involves supervising, organizing, coordinating, and directing the daily operations of the Women’s Auxiliary for Area Command Angel Tree programs. This includes ensuring efficient and effective completion of office tasks, cross-training and supporting all office assignments with a focus on deadlines and quality, and supervising, organizing, and coordinating events and projects for a large Auxiliary. The manager will advise and direct Auxiliary volunteers, utilize volunteers and employees as needed, and act as a liaison to the Women's Auxiliary by providing necessary research, reports, and materials.

Requirements

  • Associates degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required
  • Four years progressively responsible experience demonstrating a record of accomplishment in supervising volunteers as well as organizing, coordinating and managing of events/projects, preferable in a non-profit setting
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
  • Ability to speak before small and large groups of people.
  • Ability to travel to various locations in order to participate in public meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
