About The Position

The Philanthropy Officer serves the greater Adena Fairfield region as a member of the Major Gifts team. The officer manages a portfolio of 100–120 individuals with the capacity to make gifts of $5,000 or more, consisting mostly of newly identified grateful patient prospects and proactive prospects. The role contributes to fundraising goals by qualifying major gift prospects, guiding prospects through the donor cycle, developing compelling gift opportunities, making and closing successful asks, and partnering with providers and internal leaders to engage Adena Health Foundation donors.

This is a full-time, day-shift position. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of successful major gifts development experience.

• 10 or more years of successful major gifts development experience.
