About The Position

Join our team as a Philanthropy Manager to lead and develop strategic fund initiatives for the community. You will oversee major and planned giving, annual campaigns, corporate and foundation support, donor stewardship, and public relations related to development. Highland Springs is a beautiful 89-acre continuing care retirement community in North Dallas, Texas. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of all areas of fundraising, including annual and planned giving

Nice To Haves

  • Strong background in senior services or health care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Executive Director to prepare a detailed fundraising plan with attainable goals
  • Developing and implementing strategies to cultivate, solicit and provide stewardship for the community
  • Strategically growing the prospective donor base through networking in the community
  • Planning and coordinating fund drives to support strategic goals
  • Conducting outreach to the community to cultivate relationships with local business, civic and social groups
  • Creating public relations materials and collateral materials to enhance the reputation and vision of the community
