About The Position

DART is a collaboration between academic and industry investigators across 3 universities and 7 government/industrial partners. The Centre focuses on cutting-edge research projects aimed at discovering new molecular approaches to harness radioactivity and expand opportunities in the rapidly growing global radiopharmaceutical markets. DART is recruiting doctoral candidates with backgrounds in chemistry, medicine, or pharmacology for PhD projects in Radiochemistry. These scholarships are fully funded and include monetary support for laboratory work, conferences, and travel. The program offers hands-on radiochemical training and up to 12 months of immersion with government and industry partners. Graduates will become highly skilled scientists in manufacturing radiochemical agents and radiopharmaceuticals. Current projects are located at the Monash University node.

Requirements

  • Background in chemistry, medicine, or pharmacology.
  • Meet Monash minimum qualification criteria.
  • Meet Faculty-specific requirements.
  • Demonstrated capacity to carry out independent research in the proposed area of study.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Highest qualification and transcript (with grading scales if possible).
  • Current CV.
  • Identify top two topics of interest.
  • Written description (max 250 words) explaining why you want to be part of DART and why the chosen topics appeal to you.
  • Note any ideal skills for a topic.
  • List of publications of accepted or published (not submitted), if any.
  • Complete all information requested in the EoI form.
  • Submit EoI by Friday 15 May 2026, 11:59pm AEST.

Responsibilities
