About The Position

This role involves learning and developing skills in the operation of distributors that fill tunnels with compost, as well as operating forklifts and filling equipment. Responsibilities include checking compost for moisture and quality, clearing and cleaning tunnels, and prepping straw and hay bales for processing. Effective communication with management and supervisors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Learning and developing skills in the operation of the distributors that fill the tunnels with compost
• Learning and developing skills in the operation of forklifts and filling equipment
• Checking the compost for moisture and quality before, during and after flips
• Clearing and cleaning tunnels in preparation for re-filling
• Prepping straw and hay bales for processing in the mixing line
• Communicate with the Manager and Supervisors clearly and effectively
