As a Materials Handler working in the backend of the pharmacy, you will get an opportunity to impact the lives of thousands of patients who rely on critical medications to be shipped from our facility! You will work with a driven team of self-motivated professionals to meet individual and team production goals. You will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy warehouse by engaging in the receiving, storage, and replenishment of products throughout the warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include moving new shipments of pharmaceutical product to be stacked in their appropriate storage spaces in the facility, pulling product to be shipped with the appropriate carriers and inspecting products for damages. In order to be successful, you will utilize scanners and other hand-held devices to maintain inventory accuracy and potentially operate manual lifts, reach trucks, and transfer equipment in order to move product throughout the facility. This role allows you to engage in an active environment while working to develop individual production skills. Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
2 year Regular and predictable attendance
Work mandatory overtime/extended work week, when needed
Ability to remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for moving from one work area to another or within the same work area
Ability to utilize equipment that elevates over 15 feet
Ability to occasionally lift/reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk with up to 55 lbs to move objects
Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer screen, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being distracted
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
Stooping to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed accurately
Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of materials management system (SAP).
Formal Pharmacy Technician training and/or experience
Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team

Responsibilities
