About The Position

At CVS Health, Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and help create a safe, inclusive environment. After joining, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet the registration, licensing, and certification requirements set by their state Board of Pharmacy. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Where permitted by law and supported by training and certification, Technicians may also assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Technician Immunizers must complete additional state-required licensure and training.
