About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and are often the first point of contact for patients and customers. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and caring environment. After starting, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Technicians may provide additional patient health services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, a Technician Immunizer may prepare and administer vaccines after completing additional licensure and training requirements. This position is full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours. Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required.
