About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and serve as an important point of contact for patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team environment. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and meet the applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are completed. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, technicians may pursue Technician Immunizer status and support vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referrals, adverse-reaction monitoring and reporting, patient information documentation, and vaccine supply management. This is a full-time position of 30 or more hours per week. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work shifts at other stores in the market as business needs require. The stated pay range is $17.92–$27.92 per hour. Eligible full-time colleagues may receive a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
