Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Lakeland, FL

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service as an often-first point of contact for patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable laws and professional standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. Technicians must complete the company training program and meet state-specific registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties. Where permitted and supported by required training and certification, Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Technicians who obtain Technician Immunizer status may help prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, adverse-reaction response, and vaccine-supply management. This is a full-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 30. Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required. The typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour; the offer depends on factors such as experience, education, and geography. The position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.
