Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem
About The Position
As a part-time Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will prepare, deliver, and restock medications, perform order entry, and procure drugs according to written procedures, pharmacy standards, and regulatory requirements. The position is at Highlands Behavioral Health, an 86-bed hospital in Littleton, Colorado, providing psychiatric care for adults and adolescents. Pharmacy operations use Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets. The schedule is one or two weekends per month, working both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with additional coverage as needed and available to cover full-time technician paid time off.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications across campus to Omnicell units.
- Repackage bulk medication bottles into unit-dose packages and label medication doses.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and nurses to support patient care.
- Prepare, deliver, and restock medications; perform order entry; and procure drugs in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
