About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, timely prescription fulfillment and excellent service in a retail pharmacy. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help pharmacy operations run smoothly by following standard operating procedures, best practices, and effective communication. Technicians demonstrate empathy and care, contribute to a safe and inclusive culture, and help pharmacists manage and improve patient health. After starting the role, technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Depending on state law and required training and certification, technicians may also provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Where permitted, technicians may complete additional requirements to become Technician Immunizers and help prepare and administer vaccines. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market as business needs require. This is a part-time position with anticipated hours of 20 per week. The stated pay range is $17.00 per hour. Eligible benefits and programs may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
