Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or state license as required.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting.
Proficiency in pharmacy software and prescription processing systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in pharmacy technology or related field.
Experience with clinical pharmacy services or medication therapy management.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and data entry.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Process prescription orders and ensure accuracy in medication dispensing.
Support pharmacists in medication therapy management and patient counseling.
Maintain proper documentation and comply with regulatory guidelines.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications.
Respond to patient and provider inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy best practices.
