About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will oversee technician operations and workflows within the Central Fulfillment Pharmacy. Responsibilities include defining and optimizing key technician workflows, developing staff schedules, and managing daily workload distribution to ensure operational efficiency. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will be responsible for training, coaching, and developing pharmacy technician staff, including conducting regular one-on-one meetings with each technician to support performance and professional growth. This role will actively participate in workgroups focused on expanding centrally provided retail pharmacy services and will be responsible for implementing innovative workflows to support these initiatives. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager to evaluate operational performance, analyze business outcomes, and develop strategies that support the continued growth and success of the Central Fulfillment Pharmacy.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Absence of criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs.
  • Strong mathematical calculation skills.
  • Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Full proficiency typing and using Microsoft Office applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Indiana Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Pharmacy Technician National Certification.
  • BLS

Nice To Haves

  • IV admixture experience preferred.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
