•$16 - $24•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while delivering caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflows, best practices, and effective communication practices, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team environment. Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until these requirements are completed, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties. Depending on state law and training, technicians may also support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Immunization support requires additional licensure and training and may include preparing and administering vaccines, educating patients, referring vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, responding to adverse reactions, documenting patient information, and managing vaccine supplies.
