About The Position

Be a vital part of the care team where precision meets purpose. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in every step of the medication process. You’ll help manage inventory, process prescriptions, and provide exceptional service to patients and clinical teams. Position Summary: This is a developmental position that is located within the Reedsburg Area Medical Center Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacy technician at this level serves as an entry-level developmental trainee performing routine pharmacy duties under direct supervision of higher level technicians to learn the basic functions of pharmacy operations. The incumbent at this level performs basic function of pharmacy operations such as counting and packaging prescriptions, answering phone calls and mailing prescriptions. Due to lack of previous health care experience, the incumbent functioning at this level will perform with significant supervision by full performance level technicians and/or pharmacists.

Requirements

  • High school graduate OR six months of general experience OR Student Technician (enrolled in an approved nationally accredited pharmacy technician program)
  • BLS certification required
